In the grand tradition of Mark Twain (The Innocents Abroad) and numerous less famous Americans, we recently toured “the Holy Land.” Norty picked this as the year to make our long-desired trip, and Terry did the planning.
We spent a wonderful two weeks from late December to early January visiting our four grandkids (and their parents).
Life in Joplin is good. We are renting a roomy house within a mile of the university, and the city has pretty much everything we need or want -- except for an Indian restaurant.
